My love, Korea: Jeollanam-do(Suncheon Bay)

Hey guys, today i am going to talk about Suncheon Bay Ecological Park 顺天湾 which is also located in Jeollanam-do area. As a matter of fact, this is the place that i love the most!! So what's so special about this place?

Well, Suncheonman is a coastal wetland that are thickly covered with field of tall reeds. This reeds play an important role as a habitat for many plants and animals such as small crab, fishes and shellfish. Different species of migratory birds will visit here during autumn, creating a spectacular view which makes this place a popular attraction.

The view is sooo pretty!! You can take a leisurely stroll down the track to enjoy the scenery around you. You will definitely feel more refreshing and relaxing.

Reeds!!!

The best time to visit here is during the evening because you can watch SUNSET at here!!!! ^^ Suncheon Bay is the best spot that allows you to enjoy, admire and appreciate the beauty of sunset live. Its too bad that the weather is kinda of cloudy when i visit there. But WTH, it is still very cool to visit such a lovely place!

The sunset is so mesmerizing. My friend had a 感触 when she looked at this picture. She quoted "枯藤老树昏鸦,小桥流水人家". Haha

Well, this is a picture that i took it from internet. You will get to see this spectacular view when you visit here during autumn. The taxi driver tell us that hundred of species of migratory birds will stop by at Suncheon Bay and all the reeds will turn into red colour during autumn. So if you visit Korea during autumn, dont forget to visit here!! Definitely worth to come, i ensure you will not regret~~ =p I will visit this beautiful place again in the future!!

Ohya, if you are not comfortable to walk such a long distance, you can always take the Train of Reeds or taking a boat to enjoy and appreciate the magnificent view of reeds along the Suncheon Bay. Both of the transportation takes around 40 minutes.

My love, Korea: Jeollanam-do(Gwangju)

Well, its time to start my blogging about Korea. I spend 4 months of studying in Chonnam National University located at Gwangju, Korea. Gwangju is the 6th largest city in South Korea, also the capital of South Jeolla Province. Lets see.......

Gwangju is no. 062, located southwest of South Korea

Even though Gwangju is not as popular as Seoul or Busan, but I am so in love with this place!! Gwangju is part of Jeollanam-do area and there are lots of pretty scenery around here. Don't worry, I will introduce the places that I go in Jeollanam-do area!

1. Gwangju

Do you know that Seungri who is a member of popular South Korean boy group Big Bang is born in Gwangju? haha... There are several places that you can visit in Gwangju such as The Street Art, Mountain Mudeung, Jungoe Park, Soswaewon Garden and Gwangju Folk Museum.

A street that exhibit Gwangju's traditional art scene through local work

Gwangju Folk Museum houses a collection of traditional arts and folk artifacts,
portraying the traditional daily lives of Korean

Mudeung Mountain(無等山) is Gwangju's famous mountain where lots of ahjumma and ahjussi love
to climb during weekend. Did I mention that Korea's ahjumma and ahjussi are very healthy and strong.
They climb even faster than us and some of them even kind enough to wait for us. >< So embarrassing!

Soswaewon Garden is a private garden during Korea Joseon Dynasty. When I first entering this place, I feel so peaceful and harmony. There is a Chinese saying "世外桃源" meaning " The peach blossom spring". It describe this place as a paradise isolated from outside world where everyone is living and working harmoniously with the environment. In short, this place is beautiful la~~~haha

When I went to Jungoe Park, this place was very pretty because the park was full of pretty pinky MaeHwa flowers(Plum Blossom)!! However the lifespan of MaeHwa is too short but they continues to bloom and beautifies its surrounding while other plants shed their leaves and still in dormant state. Therefore, plum blossom signifies strength, endurance and perseverance.

That's all for today, I will keep on updating about my travel experience in different parts of Korea~~=D

Unlike Malaysia, I have to worry and cautious whenever I go out. Haizz...
