TOUS LES JOURS

Today i am going to blog about the famous Korean bakery, TOUS les JOURS(TLJ)!! This bakery is a french-asian bakery from Korea. Well, i've just knew about this bakery during my student exchange life in Korea. TLJ and Paris Baguette are both very popular bakeries among the Koreans. However, personally i more prefer TLJ because the breads and cakes are damn delicious la!! Usually i am not a cake favorite person because i think that most of the cake are too creamy and too sweet. One of the reason i loveeeee the TLJ's cake is because their cakes are not too sweet and not too creamy, the taste is just so perfect! I just found out that there is a new TLJ at Bangsar, KL just opened recently. So my friends and I decide to drop by the TLJ branch at Bangsar!

TLJ is here at Bangsar!!
Upon entering the shop, we are overwhelmed by variety of pastries. Various pastries are laid out for us to choose and delicious and colorful cakes are showcased. We bought 3 different types of bun and we can't wait to try them out.

The macaroons and cakes look so tempting!!

Met several koreans in here

self pose picture is a must in this lovely environment~hah

Bun that we bought

Seriously, the taste of the bun is so heavenly delicious. The texture is so soft and smooth and the mouthfeel of the bun is great. Well for the price, its not that cheap compared to other bakeries but i think that the bread in TLJ is worth to try and worth the price.

The cake that we bought in Korea

If you happens to be at Bangsar, just drop by and buy some of the pastries and give it a try!! I strongly recommended this bakery, their pastries are damn delicious! ahaha~~i will definitely go and buy again!!!!

The Sims 4!!!!! =D

Hey The Sims lovers!! There is a good news for you, The Sims 4 is going to release soooooonn~~ ^^ Today when i scrolled down my facebook, i saw The Sims 4 Official trailer in my news-feed!! I am soooooooo thrill and excited for it!!!!! Woohoo, you have no idea how much i am so in love with The Sims~~lols, probably this is because there is a "Sim" in my name too..haha.

When i started to play Sims 1, i am so obsessed with this games until i am willing to wake up early in the morning just to play this game. Hah, i guess is because the life simulation in this game is so real especially The Sims 3 that attracted me the most. I loved to construct and design the houses for sims as i am interested in interior design...Heeee.. Enough of crapping, here is it, THE SIMS 4 trailer!!!!

Taaadaaa.....honestly, there are not much changes in The Sims 4 but the features are enhanced. You can now sculpt your sims's body and faces according to the way you want easily by sliding your mouse to the part you want to alter! You also can change their voices and how they move.. haha, so kawaii neh!!

And the sims now have emotions!!! haha~~ I find these emotions so damn cute, it makes the sims look much more lively! The storyline in the official trailer is also funny and cute too! I can't wait for them to be released and get my hands on it!! Hehe, :)

Till then, XOXO.

My love, Korea: Jeollanam-do (Naju Image Theme Park)

Aloha, today i am going to introduce Image Theme Park 罗洲影像主题乐园 (나주영상테마파크) that is situated at Naju. Naju is a small city in South Jeolla Province. Previously, the capital of South Jeolla was located at Naju until it was moved to Gwangju. Naju is also famous for the Naju Pear where pear museum and pear garden can be found in Naju. Too bad that i do not have the chance to visit the museum and the garden.

Well, this Image Theme Park is a scenic tourist attraction!!! I strongly recommend that if you have the chance to travel Jeollanam-do area, Image Theme Park  is a MUST VISIT place!!! Hahaha~~i am too emotional, but trust me you will never regret it!

Naju Image Theme Park is the largest drama shooting place where many epic dramas were filmed such as “Jumong" which is a famous TV drama and many other dramas. Jumong is a historical drama which portrays the life of Jumong Taewang, the founder of the Goguryeo Kingdom. I didn't watch this drama so i have no idea what's the drama about but i guess its a good drama as my Korean Traditional Art and Culture lecturer said so. LOL~~

Jumong drama poster
As i entered the gate, there was a streets of stars who have acted in the dramas and movies taken in the Naju Image Theme Park with their pictures and their hand prints.

Houses in noble village where villagers used to live, street of stores and various items in daily life which portray the living of the society in Goguryeo Kingdom.

Middle fortress is established as a role to separate the life and culture between the noblemen and commoners. Main palace also can be found in here.

LOL, having oppa gangnam style here!

Yeongsan River Valley

Aren't the scenery behind me spectacular?!!

There are some costumes worn by the actors an actresses in the dramas. But you can wear it for free and take some photos as a remembrance and have fun! ^^

Ok. I guess that's all for Naju Image Theme Park. If you have any questions, you can visit this website: http://www.visitkorea.or.kr/enu/SI/SI_EN_3_1_1_1.jsp?cid=495604
Annyeong~~ XOXO

p/s: For transportation, i recommend to take taxi. At first we planned to take a bus stated in the Korea tourism website, however we waited for a long time and there were no buses to the theme park. So, we chose to take a taxi. It takes approximately 25-30 minutes, i guess. (For taxi, i strongly recommend at most 4 persons per taxi, its better do not exceed 4 persons as most of the taxi driver in Korea do not take passengers that are more than 4 unless you are lucky, which is in our case..hehe). If you have 5 people just like us, you can try to persuade the taxi driver and some of them agree to fetch but they will charge extra 1000-2000 won but i think is ok since there are 5 of us.

廖智- A lady of bravery

My love, Korea: Jeollanam-do(Suncheon Bay)

Hey guys, today i am going to talk about Suncheon Bay Ecological Park 顺天湾 which is also located in Jeollanam-do area. As a matter of fact, this is the place that i love the most!! So what's so special about this place?

Well, Suncheonman is a coastal wetland that are thickly covered with field of tall reeds. This reeds play an important role as a habitat for many plants and animals such as small crab, fishes and shellfish. Different species of migratory birds will visit here during autumn, creating a spectacular view which makes this place a popular attraction.

The view is sooo pretty!! You can take a leisurely stroll down the track to enjoy the scenery around you. You will definitely feel more refreshing and relaxing.

Reeds!!!

The best time to visit here is during the evening because you can watch SUNSET at here!!!! ^^ Suncheon Bay is the best spot that allows you to enjoy, admire and appreciate the beauty of sunset live. Its too bad that the weather is kinda of cloudy when i visit there. But WTH, it is still very cool to visit such a lovely place!

The sunset is so mesmerizing. My friend had a 感触 when she looked at this picture. She quoted "枯藤老树昏鸦,小桥流水人家". Haha

Well, this is a picture that i took it from internet. You will get to see this spectacular view when you visit here during autumn. The taxi driver tell us that hundred of species of migratory birds will stop by at Suncheon Bay and all the reeds will turn into red colour during autumn. So if you visit Korea during autumn, dont forget to visit here!! Definitely worth to come, i ensure you will not regret~~ =p I will visit this beautiful place again in the future!!

Ohya, if you are not comfortable to walk such a long distance, you can always take the Train of Reeds or taking a boat to enjoy and appreciate the magnificent view of reeds along the Suncheon Bay. Both of the transportation takes around 40 minutes.

My love, Korea: Jeollanam-do(Gwangju)

Well, its time to start my blogging about Korea. I spend 4 months of studying in Chonnam National University located at Gwangju, Korea. Gwangju is the 6th largest city in South Korea, also the capital of South Jeolla Province. Lets see.......

Gwangju is no. 062, located southwest of South Korea

Even though Gwangju is not as popular as Seoul or Busan, but I am so in love with this place!! Gwangju is part of Jeollanam-do area and there are lots of pretty scenery around here. Don't worry, I will introduce the places that I go in Jeollanam-do area!

1. Gwangju

Do you know that Seungri who is a member of popular South Korean boy group Big Bang is born in Gwangju? haha... There are several places that you can visit in Gwangju such as The Street Art, Mountain Mudeung, Jungoe Park, Soswaewon Garden and Gwangju Folk Museum.

A street that exhibit Gwangju's traditional art scene through local work

Gwangju Folk Museum houses a collection of traditional arts and folk artifacts,
portraying the traditional daily lives of Korean

Mudeung Mountain(無等山) is Gwangju's famous mountain where lots of ahjumma and ahjussi love
to climb during weekend. Did I mention that Korea's ahjumma and ahjussi are very healthy and strong.
They climb even faster than us and some of them even kind enough to wait for us. >< So embarrassing!

Soswaewon Garden is a private garden during Korea Joseon Dynasty. When I first entering this place, I feel so peaceful and harmony. There is a Chinese saying "世外桃源" meaning " The peach blossom spring". It describe this place as a paradise isolated from outside world where everyone is living and working harmoniously with the environment. In short, this place is beautiful la~~~haha

When I went to Jungoe Park, this place was very pretty because the park was full of pretty pinky MaeHwa flowers(Plum Blossom)!! However the lifespan of MaeHwa is too short but they continues to bloom and beautifies its surrounding while other plants shed their leaves and still in dormant state. Therefore, plum blossom signifies strength, endurance and perseverance.

That's all for today, I will keep on updating about my travel experience in different parts of Korea~~=D
안녕!!

Well, its bogging time!

Blogging blogging, its time for me to blog too~~Hopefully I will keep blogging and not just 三分钟热度 la...hahaha~~

Well, I just came back from my 4 months of Korea exchange program.

I miss Korea so much, miss the food, miss the people, miss the culture, miss the skincare and makeup products, miss the clothes....and most important is that I felt SAFE at there!!! I don't have to worry about robberies, rape, murder, theft......
Unlike Malaysia, I have to worry and cautious whenever I go out. Haizz...

Arghhhhh, how I wish I live at there. Haha~~Well, I would blog about my travel experience in Korea in my next post. Hopefully my experience will help those who would like to travel at Korea. Stay tuned, tata~~whooshhh
